@blav367 @simons122 how would you feel if your legacy was to be the biggest failure in history. ???

@babenotincluded How many paying spectators show up standard BMX races besides family? Drag races will loose much of their crowd and dollars if they move to electric. All motorcycles are awesome but the industry as a whole, racing and the number of companies involved will decrease quickly if electric bikes take over. That means slim chance this account or televised SX will exist.
@ebr_performance like it or not you sounds like a V8 muscle head in the 70s or a die hard air cooled two stroke fan pissed because all the companies went water cooled.. it’s the evolution of the sport and technology.
Let’s get em hahaha @stillyn99
Ugly as hell, and just to weird, I’ve gotta have some noise!!, hell I don’t even like electric RC cars lol
@mcnoche134 enjoy that pal ?
@babenotincluded The industry needs to attract spectators and new riders to keep it strong. It’s a sure thing that silent motorcycle racing will not pack the fences, hold a televised slot or hold a person’s attention longer than watching a muted television show. Winners rev their bikes to get the crowds excited. Sound and vibration are part of the excitement for most spectators. Harley sales are based more on sound than technology. We want to keep the sport strong. Either way, we hope it works out positive for the motorcycle industry.

Like them or not, they will out perform gas bikes eventually. I think in 10 years or less every manufacturer will be making them.
GAY AF
@tuzzo104 coming from a fellow engineering student, you must not attend an accredited engineering school if you don’t see a future in electricity lmao. Your future is gonna suck in 10 years

Like the 55 inch TV I paid $1,050 in 2012 that you can now get for $398 (!!), I’d wait a little bit
?
@chris.pas pretty sure the left wing weenies are the ones pushing for electric bikes/cars/solar panels etc & the right wing knuckle draggers are the ones hung up on gas motors & burning coal but you’re right they’ll take over as soon as we run out of oil if not sooner.
If these bikes keep evolving they will eventually take over. Just think, you don’t have to stop and get gas. You don’t have an air filter to clean. They will be easy to clean. Eventually off road tracks will have charging stations. The size of the batteries will get smaller and more powerful. The mapping could be changed to suite any type of riding. No more dented pipes. It also makes you wonder what aftermarket shops could do to change the power delivery? Maybe instead of sending your motor to pro-circuit, you will send it to G.E. for some type of hop-up? It will also be interesting to see how factory teams deal with electric bikes? Will the current manufacturers build electric motocross bikes or will we see a whole new set of bike builders come out of the woodwork?
More or less than 14000
