NGV team with Mischo Erban gathered at the Portorož Airport, Slovenia, to break 100 km/h (62 mph) speed limit.
Guinness officials’ requirement was to exceed the speed of 84 km/h (52 mph), although there haven’t been any official record for electric longboards recorded yet.
We had 4 test sessions. First day, on 26th in the morning the maximum speed was 85.5 km/h (53 mph) and 102.9 km/h (64 mph) in the afternoon, measured by two garmins. Official result from tuesday afternoon measured with two laser traps was 95.83 km/h (60 mph) as an average speed in 20 m distance.
