Hey Everyone!
For you this time I’ve reviewed the Dillenger 1500w conversion kit with 20Ah battery. The kit i’ve got is actualy a pre-production upgraded kit with the LCD display, but other than the display, its exactly the same as this one:
Its currently only on sale in Australia, but the guys at Dillenger say that they are planning to sell it in the UK and USA very soon.

you need to get a rego and insurance for such a bike in Australia, correct?
How replaceable are the wheel bearings? What other moving parts (other than sprocket, peddles system)?
move the camera up. i can't see where im going.
am i the only one wanting to setup my own lcd with an arduino because i find the lcd kits annoying because it makes it difficult to work with and makes it difficult to get rid of that made in china feel
Too bad we're restricted to 250w meanwhile in the USA they're allowed 750w. Bullshit laws.
Hey what's the biggest size battery you can use on your electric bike.
how much is it approximately?
how do you protect it from getting stolen??
nice bike .battery should be in guide frame..you will get balance weight.
what size is the axel on this 12mm or 14mm ?
Do yourself a favour, don't get Dillenger to install your kit which is an option you can pay for, they botched my installation (rear hub motor) completely and pieces are missing, I had to get every aspect of my installation re-done by professionals – wiring, gears, brakes, PAS sensor repositioned. They are argumentative and I quote "The 4-1 cable organiser was removed from your installation to avoid any stretching complications." then why have it in the first place.
Why dont you get a metal package holder and a automotive plastic car battery box to put your electronics in. your setup feels kinda unstable=)
Hi,
Does it charge the battery either aplying brake or releasing the handle?
Hi, is this bike good for uphill?
be careful with this company (dillinger)! worst customer service ever seeing!
that battery is one he'll of a heavy boat anchor. mounting that much weight so high and so far back on the bike will make it unstable. you can get a custom made battery that is shaped to fit your bikes main frame triangle that would weigh only 5kg and be more balanced from Rev in Melbourne.
Ok I have some questions
1. Do you have an idea of how many miles this goes on a single charge?
2.Does the wheel spinning recharge the battery like some kind of mini turbine?
you can see him weaving to stay up right on the bike, that shows the very high centre of gravity the bike now has with the high mounted battery pack. thats why most bikes have the battery pack between/inside the frame.
Is it 26 inch? I wish they had same power for 650b (27.5 inch)
Just brought one of these kits pre orderd from Australia to the UK , ime going to put it on a Carrera Kraken ….. They dont offer pedal assist on it as its stated on their website as " too dangerous " on the 1500w kit , so its throttle onley . I researched the web for days before makeing my choice on this particular kit , not realy wanting to buy the slightly cheaper options from China after mixed reports on them . Amazing how this technology"s comeing on so quickly with higher perfonce levels being obtained all the time , hope ive made the right choice ! 🙂
Where can i get that 1500w motor everywhere I call or look it's only saying 750w or 1000w motors can you direct me to that motor I would really appreciate it cool bike
How did you wire the battery to the controller? 🙂
if you use 48v 12 mah battery does it affect speed ? or only time
Cool
250 W is too slow going up a hill and the battery drains fast depending on the size and type of battery. We need at least 350 W to 500 W, I think that's fair. But 1500 W is too fast for me.
Hey. What weighs of that battery? Btw my battery pack for 1500w 48v is quite heavy – 21kg!!!
Does this also have the RPAS sensor? I want to remove the throttle for my location (police here in NYC give tickets here in NYC when they see an electric bike with a throttle).
Cool bike. I need one just like that.
Is it legal to ride an ebike with power over 250W on the road as you have just shown?
