The new Evolve R-2 remote! Very solid accelerator and brake triggers that allow great control over your speed, fits in the hand nicely and easy to use. If you press both triggers at the same time some how, brake always wins. New evolve Riders will find this remote very easy to use. #evolveskateboards #electricskateboard #evolveriders #EvolveR2

Awesome!!
@evolveskateboards nice piece of kit ???
This looks awesome and everything I wanted including a little extra. Now the next question is have the connectivity issues been addressed as well??
Loving these new remotes ?
Must be annoying when carrying grocery bags. I still bought one but thumb control proves to be the best approach for acceleration and braking.
Check your DM guys!
@jasonlatorre i disagree with that, iv been using analog triggers since the nintendo64 and sega saturn had them also. that was ages ago. if this method of user interface isn’t familiar then you have just crawled out from under a rock in the last few days or so…
@oldgtxrider ??♂️ I don’t play video games but I definitely skate. I own a Bamboo GT, Raptor 2, 2 Boosted V2’s, and a Genesis Tomahawk totaling over 5000 miles ridden. The thumb control is far safer and controllable, especially when it’s a simple thumb wheel without a nub (nub gets in the way a little, Raptor 2) even a small nub can get caught on clothing causing a split second hazard. The best design would be a round wheel with no dead man switch, and interestingly enough out of all my board the Genesis Tomahawk (super slow) has the best remote because they basically copied the boosted remote concept and removed the dead man switch. With a thumb control there is 1 point of contact to worry about as compared to the 2 points of contact in this design. Confidence in control is the name of this game. Also with the thumb wheel design you can lock in the speed super easy by simply using your finger fat to hold a given position in the thumb wheel travel. I’m sure this R-2 remote is nice and definitely much better than the original remote, I mean I spent $80 on it myself, but I can see the R-3 remote eventually going full thumb control. In my opinion the R-2 design incorporated the thumb brake as a catalyst to eventually ease Evolve riders into this safer and more controllable all thumb method In the future remote design. All my opinion of course.
@glenncrotts
@jasonlatorre hey fellas, like anything new you must learn how to use. Once you begin to use and get used to it we are pretty sure you’ll enjoy and find it simple to use. Happy riding!
@evolveskateboards ??
@topher_pop they changed the remote!
I just purchased a board last week. Would this remote work on it?
Why no battery percentage anymore?
